I wanted to provide a quick update on our puppies. They are now 18 days old and have begun opening their eyes. These are days of rapid change. Shortly they will begin to hear for the first time as well. We are now playing music for them throughout the day. We are spending time with each puppy individually holding and cuddling them, talking quietly to them and soothing them.
These pups are doing great. They are strong and robust. They have all gained weight well. Physically we are seeing them push themselves up on their front legs for the first time. This is the start of the toddler phase and they will be mobile within the next few days.
