Cannella has 7 puppies!

We have 7 puppies. 5 girls and 2 boys. 5 brown and 2 white with brown. (It is too early to be sure, but we believe that these will remain white, though the color Roan doesnt start to show for another week or so.) Cannella is such a sweet girl. I love her. She is so attentive, so calm, so eager to please. She is a really good mom. She hardly gets up out of the whelping box and looks after her puppies really well making sure they are fed and are cleaned regularly.

Puppies regained birth weight by the 3rd day (which is looked for to ensure they are strong and thriving.) They are now gaining weight at a tremendous rate! They nurse well, sleep plenty and we have started doing Early Neurological Stimulation with them.
